Call for Papers

Baxa Corporation is awarding several unrestricted educational grants for research studies on the usage and benefits of its new product, the PadLock® Set Saver. Grants will be awarded for research intended for presentation at the Infusion Nursing Society, Association for Vascular Access, Association for Professionals in Infection Control & Epidemiology and/or publication in the Journal of Infusion Nursing, Journal of Vascular Access, American Journal of Infection Control and similar publications. Free product will be provided for the length of the study.
Preferences will be given to research studies based on the following areas of interest:
• Cost benefit study
• Decreased contamination/infection risks
• Aseptic techniques/best practices

About PadLock Set Saver
The PadLock Set Saver is designed to promote best practice for aseptic IV administration set storage and preventing contamination of the administration set when disconnected from the patient. The product provides temporary storage of the IV administration line between drug administrations, replacing the need for single-use, sterile caps.
