Return to Newsletter INLET CHANGES FOR BAXA AUTOMATED COMPOUNDERS Customers using the Exacta-Mix™ 2400 Compounders from Baxa were recently notified of changes to our micro and macro inlets. The project was completed in phases meaning that some inlets were updated earlier than others. The changes to upgrade the overall performance of the inlets are now complete: • The inlet connectors are now made of white thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). • Order no. 176 now has a different luer connector to make it easier to handle. • The product sterilization process changed from e-beam to EtO, allowing higher through puts to ensure stable inventory supply.
