Return to Newsletter CHANGES TO DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ON BAXA COMPUTERS The "Energy Policy Act of 2005" signed by President Bush on August 8, 2005 changed these start and end dates beginning in 2007. Microsoft has provided a feature for their Windows® operating systems to automatically adjust the system clock in accordance with Daylight Saving Time. If this feature is turned on, the system clock will automatically adjust on the wrong date. As a service to our customers Baxa has developed instructions as to how to address this issue. Go to the following Internet address www.baxa.com/softwareupdates and enter the password DST. You’ll find instructions on how to update your system. This only applies to Baxa-provided systems. Please consult with your IT department if you are unsure if your computer is provided by Baxa. Back to Top Return to Newsletter |
